ON/OFF CB 3020

“CB” pushbuttons are simple maneuvering devices, intended for starting and stopping operations (ON – OFF) of engines, but they do not offer protection to the electrical circuits in which they are installed.

Before choosing the type of drive, it is necessary to check whether the electrical installation is adequate. Also, the following must be taken into account: the type of operation desired, the electrical power of the motor, the category of use and the type of network (single-phase or three-phase).

Electrical devices must be protected against the penetration of foreign bodies, especially if they are installed in aggressive environments (such as metalworks, marble factories, sawmills, etc.).

Note:

• Suitable for small capacity engines.
• Starting the engine at no load (NO LOAD).
• Does not attenuate the current peak when starting motors.
• Cables must be sized correctly to avoid overheating.
