LOMBARD Electric Wrenches and Tools
In February 1949, Bruno Bruni, an Italian living in Brazil for over 25 years, founded the individual company Bruno Bruni, with the aim of manufacturing electrical equipment in general, with an emphasis on the production of starter switches for controlling engines. The manufactured products received the Lombard trademark.
In 1951, with the entry of brother Dante into the company, the company's corporate name changed to Bruno Bruni & Irmão Ltda; in 1958 it was changed again to Eletro Mecânica Lombard Ltda and, finally in 2002, it was renamed Lombard Indústria Eletro Mecânica Ltda. It currently has its manufacturing headquarters in the Jaraguá neighborhood and administrative headquarters in the Lapa neighborhood, São Paulo.
In addition to its strong presence in the national market, the company exports its products to Latin American countries.
