CURRENT TRANSFORMER

The current transformer is equipment that helps measuring and protection instruments so that they can function properly and safely, without the nominal current being the same as that required for the load to operate.
The function of the current transformer is to reduce a current measured at high voltage to a much lower value, enabling the measurement and monitoring of the real electrical current that flows in an alternating current (AC) line.
