THREE-PHASE REVERSE

USE:
They are used to reverse the direction of rotation of electric motors. Its main application is in machine tools, where the reversal of the direction of rotation of the motor is necessary. To correctly execute the command for this operation, at least the following topics must be observed:

Do not revert to rotating the engine at full speed from clockwise to counterclockwise or vice versa. The reversing switches have a central stop position to prevent reversal at full load.

To reverse the direction of rotation in three-phase, short-circuited rotor-type motors, simply invert one of the supply phases.

Note: IF THE REVERSAL SWITCH WITH ENGINE BRAKE IS INSTALLED, A RECTIFIER BRIDGE MUST BE USED TO CONNECT IT.
